Arizona Right to Life PAC Announces Endorsement of John McCain in the Republican Primary for U.S. Senate Acknowledges J.D. Hayworth’s Perfect Pro-Life Voting Record
Arizona Right to Life Political Action Committee (“AZRTL PAC”) announces its endorsement of John McCain in the Arizona Republican Primary for U.S. Senate.
Additionally, AZRTL PAC acknowledges that J.D. Hayworth also has a pro-life position and had a perfect pro-life voting record during his service in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Under the AZRTL PAC criteria for endorsing candidates, if the incumbent candidate and the challenger both have a pro-life voting record, AzRTL PAC will endorse the incumbent over the challenger.
AzRTL PAC endorses John McCain because he has a long history of supporting pro-life legislation. “Throughout his career, John McCain has championed pro-life causes including; voting at least seven times to ban partial birth abortions and co-sponsoring four separate pieces of legislation to end this horrible practice. Additionally he has fought against President Obama’s attempt to take over our country’s healthcare system and use of our tax dollars to pay for abortions,” said Walt Opaska, Chairman of AzRTL PAC.
AzRTL PAC longs for the day when all candidates running for public office will have the courage to stand up and defend all innocent human life. Those who serve in public office have a duty to use their office to protect and defend innocent human life and ensure that laws are passed to protect the defenseless in our society. The pro-life issue is not a political football to be used for political gain. Standing in defense of life is a responsibility for us all. If we could agree that protecting innocent human life was paramount in nurturing a healthy society, other political disagreements and dividing issues would take on a different perspective. At the end of the day, laws must exist to protect the inalienable right to life of all innocent human beings from the moment of their conception to their natural death.
